Blood Donation Camp

Akshendra Welfare Society has been known for its deeds of noble cause. A grand “Blood Donation Camp” has been organised this time and the occasion was the birthday of Mr. B. S. Rawat, the Chairman of Rawat Educational Group & the President of Akshendra Welfare Society.

This camp was organised by Rawat Educational Group in Association with Akshendra Welfare Society & Rajasthan-Uttarakhand Sabha and this has been organised for years by now.

The secretary of Akshendra Welfare Society & Director of Rawat Educational Group Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat also donated blood & inspired others. Staff members of all the branches of Rawat Educational Group participated in this Camp. More than 500 people including the volunteers of Akshendra Welfare Society too donated their blood on this occasion & supported for the noble cause.

Daan Utsav (Festival of Donation)

Daanotsav i.e. Festival of Donation has been organised by Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar in association with Akshendra Welfare Society between 2nd and 8th October 2022. Every Day was assigned for a different category of special “Daan/Donation’. It has been continued in 2023 too and will also be celebrated even in the subsequent years. The highlights of the aforesaid festival are as follows:

2nd October:   Under the aforesaid ‘Festival of Donation’, Seva Daan/Donation of Service was celebrated on this day. Students donated their services by paying hard work in different segments.

3rd October:    On this day, Kshama Daan/ Donation of Forgiving was being celebrated by the students Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar. They took an oath and decided to forgive all those who have ever done wrong to them.

4th October:    An old age home was being visited by the staff of Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar and Akshendra Welfare Society under the title of “Samay Daan/ Donation of Time”. All the old age people over there, were made comfortable by spending some time with them.

5th October:    When it comes to donate, Akshendra Welfare Society never remains behind. On this day, “Vastra Daan/ Donation of Clothing” was being celebrated. Various clothes had been donated for different age groups. The day was successfully carried out by the society members and the students of Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar.

6th October:    Someone’s world can be enlightened through books only and to realise it, Akshendra Welfare Society in association with RPS carried out “Pustak Daan/ Donation of Books” to the deprived ones of our society. Especially, children were being made donate those books which they don’t use but can be of someone else’s use.

7th October:    Shram Daan/ Donation of Labour had been performed in different spheres around. Students and staff of RPS and Akshendra Welfare Society together executed labour work wherever it was required.

8th October:    The biggest charity in this world is to either feed a hungry individual or to quench someone’s thirst. In this context, “Ann Daan/ Donation of grains” was carried out by Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar. Many food items and different type of grains were distributed by students and Rawat Educational Group in association with Akshendra Welfare Society too.

Overall, more than 5000 people participated in this Daanotsav. The secretary of Akshendra Welfare Society Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat, also inspired everyone to take part in every single activity of this festival.

Charity Day Celebration

Every year, ‘Charity Day’ is celebrated on a special day i.e. birthday of honourable director Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat. On this occasion, kids with different abilities are invited for the cake cutting ceremony and lunch party followed by distribution of several gifts among them. Such a noble deed performed by him on his birthday!!
 

Gau-Seva Abhiyaan (Movement of serving cows)

It was certainly a great moment for Akshendra Welfare Society to become a part of Gau-seva at Hingonia Gaushala. This movement was begun when Lumpy Skin Disease Virus was prevailed and had become a threat for the cows. Special puddings were prepared for cows & a fund was created for their welfare too.

More than 500 Volunteers of Akshendra Welfare Society along with the president Mr. B. S. Rawat, the secretary Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat and the treasurer Dr. Akshita Rawat participated in this Campaign.

Water-pots (Parinda) campaign for birds

Akshendra Welfare Society’s “Parinda (Water-pots) campaign” for birds was organized by the society at Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar. Counsellor Mr. Vinod Sharma had been invited as the Chief Guest on this occasion. The program started with the speech of Mr. B. S. Rawat, the Chairman of Rawat Educational Group, President of Uttarakhand Mahasabha and President of Akshendra Welfare Society. He informed that the society has been established for the upliftment of every weak section of the society. He also discussed the future programs of the society in detail. 21,000 parindas were tied at different sites of the city under this campaign. More than 200 parents, children and visitors planted such water pots (parindas) on this occasion and resolved to inspire all their colleagues and societies to plant such water pots. Mr. O. P. Tripathi and Mr. Madhusudan Dadhich, the members of Akshendra Welfare Society were also present during this program.

At the end of the program, the director of Rawat Educational Group, State President of Brijbhoomi Foundation, Educational Brand Ambassador of Samarpan Sanstha, and Secretary of Akshendra Welfare Society Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat thanked everyone related to social service and were motivated too to remain engaged in work. He also added that this campaign is going to be continued even in the subsequent years. Alumnus of the school, Amit Sharma and Somendra Sharma were also present on this occasion. The School’s Principal Mrs. Maitreyi Shukla welcomed all the parents as students and even their parents too did tie such ‘parindas’ (water pots) in vicinities.

Due to the efforts of Akshendra welfare Society and team Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar, this movement had begun. Every passing day during summer season, students go out with teachers carrying their parindas to be hung covering all the surroundings for years by now.

Vaccination Camp

A Successful Vaccination Camp was organised at Rawat Public school in association with Akshendra Welfare Society during COVID-19. More than 500 students of Age Group between 15 to 18 years got vaccinated at the Camp. At a later stage, students above the age of 12 years were also vaccinated at the school campus. Also, the society and the school have organised a Health Check-up Camp too at the time of Annual PTM. The motive of the said Health Check-up Camp was to benefit all the students and their parents and to diagnose health issues in general.

Food and Clothes Donation

On the first birthday of our dear Akshendra Singh Rawat, Akshendra Welfare Society organised a program of donating clothes and food items for the ones in need. The program was attended by Mr. B.S. Rawat, the president of Akshendra Welfare Society,

The secretary Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat and the treasurer Dr. Akshita Rawat along with other members Mr. Madhusudan Dadhich, Mr. Anand Pandey and the members of the Rawat family participated in this noble deed. This campaign was first begun in the year 2022 and thereafter being decided to be continued in future too.

Blood Donation Camp

Every year on the occasion of Akshendra Welfare Society’s President Mr. B. S. Rawat’s Birthday, a Blood Donation Camp is organized by the NGO.
Donating Blood is one of the greatest charities for mankind.
Akshendra Welfare Society urges everyone to donate their healthy blood at least once in a lifetime.

Anti Child Labour Campaign

On the occasion of World Day against Child Labour, special kids were invited to Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar and bounties were distributed to all of them. 

There was a poster revealing ceremony done by the president of Akshendra Welfare Society Mr. B.S. Rawat, the secretary Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat and the treasurer Dr. Akshita Rawat.
